Start Your Sunday Funday with a Tour through Historic Ladd’s Addition

Join Eric Wheeler of Positively PNW Walking Tours and freelance design journalist Brian Libby for a stroll through this serene enclave of early 20th-century homes, churches, and businesses. The tour also includes refreshments at Don Tankersley’s home in Ladd’s Addition.

Ladd’s Addition is one of Oregon’s oldest planned communities and a National Register Historic District. It is known for the “X in a box” street grid, rose gardens, Arts and Crafts houses, and one of the largest tree canopies in the city.  After your tour, you can easily walk to some of SE Portland’s best shops, restaurants and brew pubs.

This walking tour will be easily paced and covers urban terrain. Please remember to dress for the weather.

Tour meetup location revealed with ticket purchase.

All proceeds benefit AFO programming, including Architects in Schools and multiple scholarship opportunities.
